Noam Sussman, an animation director hailing from Toronto, boasts a diverse portfolio in the animation world. His creative crafting GIF sticker sets for notable entities like Google, GIPHY (where he was a GIPHY featured artist), Jib Jab, and the Toronto Animated Arts Festival. Noam holds a BA in Animation from Sheridan College and an MA in Animation from the Estonian Academy of Arts.
Noam has contributed storyboards to Disney TV's Pickle and Peanut, lent his illustrative skills to the documentary mini-series Fightlore for UFC, and directed short interstitials for the PBS Kids show Let’s Go Luna. His films (Gum, Dream Cream and Oh Say Can You See?) have garnered international acclaim, screening in over 100 festivals worldwide, including prestigious events like Pictoplasma, Slamdance and Annecy, and clinching multiple awards. Among his accolades, Noam is a winner of AI-AP’s International Motion Arts Awards and earned the Audience Choice Award for Best Short Film at the Toronto Animated Image Society Showcase.
Noam is an artist at heart, a natural creative thinker, and an excellent listener. He takes a calm, organized approach with clients, providing creative direction and finding the right aesthetic for each project. When he’s not working, he’s drawing in his sketchbook or creating comics and enjoying a damn good cup of coffee.
